New account activation is completed immediately follow receipt of your payment.  It may take an additional 24-72 hours from the time you update your nameservers for your website to appear on the Internet.  This is called "DNS Propagation" and there is nothing to do to make it happen faster. Your "Welcome Email" will contain information on how to access your account via IP Address, so that you can access your CPanel and start configuring your account in the mean time.
